Today I have read more on hydrating the body and let me tell you what I have found.

Have you wondered why in hospitals the first thing they tend to give you when you have been admitted is saline?  Saline has all the essential hydrating minerals and water.   It helps you hydrate and clean the body.  Water seems to be an important component of our body’s transport system too.  Yet we often fail to hydrate ourselves properly especially in the winter periods when often over use of central heating, turbulent windy and dry weather, colds and viral infections, alcohol, an unbalanced diet can actually increase our demand for water which we do not often replenish.

One misconception is that drinking just plenty of water will be enough for hydration. In fact this can actually dehydrate us.   You may find yourself having to use the WC frequently when we begin to pass more water and minerals when drinking plenty of plain water.

Essential minerals are essential also to hydrate you.   So you will need to eat a varied of greens like celery and cucumber which has high water content as well as essential minerals that will help you to absorb and replace water from the body.  Fruit is also important like water melon and papaya.   In one example a boy suffering from asthma was told was told he was not hydrating himself properly and he was told to have a bagel with his water I guess the bagel would serve to obsorb the water cease of its high salt consistency?

So be aware when going on a rigid diet you could be clinically robbing your body of hydration because of eliminating strictly certain food; or you become too busy, like me, and often neglect an wholesome diet.  I hope you find this useful.  I am no nutritionalist but I found the reading educational.     I look forward to your comments.  😀💧💧
