Sefali’s Yoga is first and foremost highly practical and functional. It is designed to make both your body and mind function at their optimal ability. The goal of Sefali’s Yoga is to get you to a level where you feel your best and perform your best. We want to give you the tools and methods to be happier, more content and to be better at everything you do.
To achieve this Sefali’s Yoga draws from both Eastern and Western traditions, schools, philosophies, practices and methods. It combines the wisdom contained in ancient texts such as the Upanishads and various Yoga Sutras with modern scientific knowledge and methods from neuroscience, physiology, biomechanics, psychology and more.
This knowledge allows us to precisely pinpoint any dysfunctions in your body that are holding you back from being and feeling your best physically and to know which exercises you need and how to sequence them for maximum effect so that you improve in the fastest time possible.
We can also look to see where you are getting in your own way psychologically and show you various breathing and meditation practices that address these obstacles so that your mind works with you instead of against you.
Even though we are very confident in the value of what we teach, we are still constantly looking to improve. Sefali’s Yoga is not static and we work hard to keep up with all the new cutting edge information as well as learning from all the best teachers we can find.
